Sarah Bol (1974) creates ceramic vases and dishes in robust shapes. “I very much rely on working with my own two hands, a lengthy and slow creation process, and on retaining my concentration which gives each object its own energy and tension." Her sculptures represent a confluence of simplicity and baroque opulence, while retaining the mysterious feel that expresses the primal force of nature.

The art work by Sarah Bol, who completed part of her education at the Ceramics Academy in ENAD Limoges (France) could be seen in the Museum de Wieger Deurne, on the Kunstrai in Amsterdam (The Netherlands), on the Holland Art Fair in Utrecht (The Netherlands) and the Artfair Autotron in Rosmalen (The Netherlands). On the honourable assignment of the Municipality of Amsterdam, she created a sculptural decoration for the ‘crown’ of lanterns in the old city centre.
